Tonight’s post is another post that is a bit of a throwback. I noticed that my sweet friend, Emily, posted several days ago that her little guy, Beau, has hit his 2 month milestone.

You guys, I’m quite enjoying January so far. Will and I spend 99% of the year feeling like we are behind on something. Whether it’s editing, blogging, responding to messages, following up on wedding day details/timelines/etc., we usually feel like there is always something that needs attention.

This afternoon’s blog posts is dedicated to one of our favorite families ever! We’ve loved working with Katie and Stephen over the last several years and are even more excited to watch them grow as a family of three now that Henry has made his arrival.

I’m keeping the trend of sharing newborn sessions going tonight with sweet Ella’s session. It’s hard to believe, but it’s been more than three years since we shot Liz and Grantley’s Windsor, NC wedding and we were so excited that they trusted us once again to capture another milestone in their lives.

Over the years, our theory on the best time to capture newborn sessions has changed a hundred times. We’ve finally decided that sometimes it’s simply the luck of the draw when it comes to finding that perfect sleepy time.

It’s funny how life works, but we have had the pleasure of working with lots of twins over the last year. Between senior sessions, babies, and even brides and grooms that are twins, we’ve certainly experienced double the fun many times.

Ya’ll I really hate that it took me so long to get around to blogging Wesley’s newborn session. He was an absolute dream to photograph! So laid back and perfectly sleepy for his session.

Will and I went through quite a newborn session boom last month into the beginning of October. I don’t think it could ever get old hanging out and taking photos of precious babies!

Sooooo many wonderful sessions to get caught up blogging! Tonight I decided to start with sharing sweet little Ava.

One of our favorite past wedding couples is now a family of 3! Katie and Davin have welcomed little Luke into their lives and even though I’m late blogging, it’s a session I just have to share!

Ya’ll, we are in the midst of a lovely stretch of lots of newborns. What better job in this world is there than getting to snuggle sweet newborns and create beautiful images of them with their parents?

Will and I always find it strange how things always seem to come in clusters for us. We are in a busy season of newborn sessions right now. AND WE LOVE IT!

One of our favorite families ever is up on our blog today. We’ve had the pleasure of watching Tyler grow over the years and now we’re excited to see his excitement as a big brother!
