Victoria & Dustin - Yankee Hall Engagement Session - Greenville NC Photographer
Ya’ll, let me go ahead and tell you like it is… One of the hardest parts of being a photographer is trying to predict the weather. Will and I sometimes swear we have a jinx: if a client is concerned about weather (and we’d rather wait a bit longer before rescheduling), it most certainly will rain. But, I feel like if I ever stress the weather, we’re going to end up with a bright, sunny beautiful day. The only problem with that… I’ve spent time worrying on the weather for nothing. Well after weeks of rescheduling Victoria and Dustin’s engagement session and me questioning whether we were making the right decision, we were finally blessed with a beautiful, sunny, warm February day! Even though Victoria is a photographer herself, she trusted us completely throughout the entire session - from the location, to the timing, and all of our posing shenanigans. And the end result - we LOVE this session. We started at the Pitt County Arboretum, which we genuinely think is Greenville’s best hidden gem, before making a quick pitstop downtown and finishing up at Victoria and Dustin’s wedding day venue, Yankee Hall. We absolutely love all of the outfits they chose for each portion of the day and were thrilled that they incorporated Riley and Waylon, their beautiful, energetic chocolate labs into the session. We can’t wait for Victoria and Dustin to say “I Do” in August!
PS, if Dustin looks familiar, he’s a manager at Sup Dogs! We can’t wait for warm, spring days on their patio!!
