Ya’ll, each year our September weddings always seem to sneak up on me. It always feels like we are in the dead middle of summer, someone snaps their fingers, and wham we’re in our fall wedding season! And I love it. I’m a summer-loving girl through and through, but the first wedding of the season when we really notice the subtle change in colors and the slight chill in the air by the end of the evening feels magical. Kalen and Matthew’s wedding day was just that - magical.

Kalen and Matt chose to get married at one of our favorite venues, which also happens to be the closest venue to our home, the May Lew Farm. It never gets old spending wedding days there. From the bridal and groom suites, to the choices of ceremony spaces, to the historic old cattle barn for the reception, everything about the property is perfection. We love that Kalen and Matt chose to have a first look so that they could make the most of their photo time before the ceremony and incorporate their fur baby - Murphy in their photos. Their ceremony was absolutely beautiful and everyone was able to dance the night away.
