Courtney & Zenik - Downtown Wedding Day Preview - Durham NC Photographer

Ya’ll, Will and I captured not one, but two beautiful wedding days this past weekend. Even in the craziest year yet of being in the wedding industry, we are constantly reminded just how blessed we are to have the BEST job ever. We started the weekend off in downtown Durham where we celebrated with Courtney and Zenik. Friday’s wedding did not match this adorable couple’s original plans at all, but that’s okay - we’re going to celebrate big with them next October! But this year’s celebration was beautiful in it’s own way. Zenik and Courtney invited about 25 of their nearest and dearest to participate in their wedding day. As Zenik described the guest list, the attendees were the foundation of his and Courtney’s lives. They were the people that made them who they are. And it was a fantastic group! It was so easy to see just how loved Courtney and Zenik are. They are funny, kind, and willing to show their love for others. They light up whatever room they are in. And they are perfect for each other. We loved that even though Courtney and Zenik planned a scaled-down wedding day for this year, they still wanted to have a first look. We had plenty of time to explore the American Tobacco Campus with this gorgeous couple and their couple’s portraits are some of my favorite from this wedding season. After completing their formal portraits early in the day, we loved witnessing their intimate ceremony. Their officiant was a close friend and the personal touches he incorporated were just perfect. Courtney and Zenik, we admire your desire to keep your family and friends safe and healthy. And you are the perfect example of love conquering all.
