As any regular reader of our blog knows, Diana typically writes these up, but since I’ve known Chris for around about a decade now, I figured I’d put this post together for him and Jaclyn. Chris and I spent a number of our college days (and beyond) working together at Gordon’s Golf & Ski in Greenville - and as I left to give 100% of my time and energy to photography, Chris stepped in and took over my management roll.

We spent all of last week with our thoughts on making rain plans for getting photos done since just about every weather app/service stated 80% chance of rain on Saturday. We didn’t stress too much though since Jaclyn and Chris had planned on having a first look - which meant there’d be more opportunities to get them outside for the best possible photos - instead of just that small window of time between the ceremony and reception.

Aside from a few stray raindrops at the end of the ceremony, we all stayed dry until we finished up the few family portraits that couldn’t be done beforehand. Once the rain started without an end in sight we assumed the sparkler exit wasn’t going to happen, but this couple’s luck continued as the rain stopped about 5 minutes before their scheduled exit - unreal timing!!
