Ya’ll, wait, what just happened? Wasn’t it JUST the start of wedding season? And Saturday we shot our last wedding of 2019. How does that even happen? We love our job. Like, really, really love our job. And it’s truly bittersweet to see the season come to an end. We’ve got Christmas to look forward to and winter projects that we’re excited to complete with some extra free time. But our hearts are truly happiest during the hustle and bustle of wedding season.

We definitely sent our 2019 wedding season out with a bang. Saturday, we celebrated with Anne Marie and Tim as they tied the knot in Raleigh at the Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral. Walking into the cathedral definitely gave me the chills. Every square inch of the space was simply breathtaking and reminded me of some of the cathedrals and churches I have visited in Europe. Seeing Anne Marie walk down the aisle to her groom in such a grand space was definitely one of the more epic moments of the 2019 wedding season for us. Anne Marie was simply elegant in her timeless wedding gown and cathedral length veil. Speaking of fashion choices, Will and I thought it was incredible that Tim and several of his groomsmen wore suits that had been worn in the wedding celebrations of several friends prior. Years from now, those suits will surely invoke some precious memories from several amazing days spent amongst friends.

After a beautiful ceremony at the cathedral, we headed to the Wakefield Barn in Wake Forest. It is such a beautiful space and fit Anne Marie and Tim’s tastes perfectly. For it to have been a late afternoon/early evening reception, Anne Marie, Tim, and their guests sure knew how to celebrate the occasion.
