You guys, by the end of 2019 we will have been a part of 43 weddings. FORTY-THREE! Wedding season is a complete and utter whirlwind for us. But we truly love it. We started this business as photographers in 2010, but back in 2015 we added on videography services as well. The majority of our clients choose both photo and video coverage on their wedding day, but we feel a special kind of excitement when we are contracted to cover a wedding day through video only. Don’t get me wrong - I love the challenge and beautiful chaos that ensues when we are the photographers. On those days we essentially become responsible for the timeline and directing people throughout the day. But there are so many precious, “in between moments” that we capture but don’t really get to stop and enjoy. For us, our wedding videos take on a candid approach with very little directing throughout the day. When we are asked to capture video only, we truly get to take in those sweet moments that make up the goodness of the day.

Sarah and Brad’s wedding day was magical. The weather was beautiful and sunny. The ceremony space at Copper Ridge on the Neuse has a perfect backdrop of the river. The reception space is beautifully light and airy. Sarah’s dress fit her as if it was made just for her. And Brad’s suit, though it didn’t arrive as ordered, ended up being perfect as well. But honestly, these “things” aren’t what we will remember 10 years from now. What we’ll remember is all of Sarah’s smiles and nerves as she was getting ready. We’ll always remember just how welcoming, friendly, and kind Brad was when we met for him for literally the first time ever. I’ll always remember the way my heart skipped a beat when Brad turned around to see his bride for the first time. Ya’ll, it’s hard for us to keep it together emotionally when we get to see these sweet moments week after week. And there was certainly no lack of beautiful, emotional, love-filled moments throughout Sarah and Brad’s big day. We hope you guys will enjoy the story told through their wedding day highlight film!
